The groovy kind. The Garland is a retro-chic Los Angeles hotel infused with 1970s California cool — warm tones, playful charm, and just the right amount of mischief. The task was to translate that spirit across brand collateral and event visuals that felt immersive, irreverent, and distinctly Garland.
The Alchemy. The brand’s nostalgic soul was translated into vibrant visual play. Earthy palettes, vintage type, and surreal collage-style graphics became the building blocks of a system designed to shift seamlessly between print and digital while staying unmistakably on vibe. Each touchpoint — from key art to event materials — felt like stepping into a sunny daydream.
The Outcome. The resulting work didn’t just support the Garland experience — it expanded it. Guests and partners engaged with a brand world that felt lived-in and loved, honoring the hotel’s legacy while keeping things fresh, funky, and joyfully bold.
